Tell the province you want the Meziadin salmon waters protected, and the country kept open

BC, the Gitanyow, and the Nisga'a are proposing to expand the Hanna-Tintina Conservancy. Public comment is open until 4 pm on August 4.

The Meziadin is about 3% of the Nass watershed by area and produces roughly 75% of its sockeye. The province has put real protection on the table: a 47,000 hectare expansion of the Hanna-Tintina Conservancy that keeps hunting, fishing, guiding, and access open while ruling out mining, logging, and oil and gas.
